Wimbledon Park GC, Tuesday, 12th June 2007

This Charity Golf Tournament is but one of several projects and forthcoming events to raise funds for the urgent renewal of the Sacred Heart Church, Wimbledon, a Grade II listed building in the top 5% of listed buildings nationally. The Church is well known and much loved by OW’s and their families over several generations. For many, it is the Church where they were baptised or married, and where their children were baptised. It is also the Church where so many OW’s come together to celebrate the lives of much loved friends and colleagues, the most recent occasions being those of Martin Murphy, a former leading figure at WPGC, and Richard Milward, a much loved and respected teacher of history at the College. We hope that this Tournament will provide not only a most enjoyable and challenging outing, but also that it will inspire your generosity to contribute to this very special cause.
